The Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) soldiers conducted adaptive training in Russia from April 3–5 in preparation for the Sayan Range March snowfield combat and march competition.
The two-stage competition will last for two days and one night, during which time each team member is required to carry 35 kilograms of gear, complete 12 courses that include avalanche search and rescue, team skiing, and team shooting in frigid temperatures, and march more than 50 kilometers in the snow.
