On Friday, the China National Space Administration and the Thailand Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on the exploration and peaceful use of outer space. Another MoU, which pertains to cooperation for the International Lunar Research Station, was also signed. According to CNSA, besides joining to develop the International Lunar Research Station, Thailand's payload will also board the Chang'e 7 mission. China's Chang'e 8 can carry 200 kilograms of international payload, and applications from Thailand for multiple lunar operation robots and scientific payloads have also been received.
