Ana Fernandez Perez is a film producer who lives and works in New York. Passionate about Chinese culture, she came to China in 2009 and worked as a college teacher in Xiangtan City, central China's Hunan Province for a year. Although she knew something about the country before coming to China, when she actually set foot on the land, it completely exceeded her expectations. Ana saw that everyone was studious, grateful and friendly.
She said she not only visited the great mountains and rivers and tasted the unique food but also learned a lot and gained good experience in China. Although Ana is far away on the other side of the ocean, what she learned in China remains with her, and she says China remains a part of her in some way.
