The pillow fight took place at a square close to the Toronto City Hall, with "fighters" gleefully wielding fluffy pillows at their nearest targets. To ensure safety and hygiene, organizers required that the pillow fighters must use only soft fillings in their pillows, strictly prohibiting feathers. Participants were also told to take all their pillows with them after the fight.
