A group of sports enthusiasts have participated in horse racing, a scrambling-for-a-sheep competition, and other activities to showcase their sporting skills and courage at a cultural event in Bayingol Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture, northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. Their performances attracted crowds of spectators. Scrambling for a sheep is a traditional horseback game in the local region where two teams compete to catch a sheep. The first team to place the sheep in the designated area wins the game.
