Located in Anhui Province, Xidi Village is an iconic ancient village with a series of ancient buildings that represent rich local history and culture and the typical Huizhou architectural style with exquisite design and construction. 

Xidi Village covers an area of nearly 13 hectares and has a history of more than 950 years. It now has three ancestral halls, one archway and 224 ancient dwellings from the 14th century to the 19th century. As a world cultural heritage, Xidi Village is known as the "living museum of ancient folk houses," showcasing its well-preserved ancient buildings with the delicate architectural style of the Ming and Qing dynasties to the world.

In order to promote local culture and tourism, the "Xidi Legend" light and shadow show is created based on local natural scenery and ancient buildings with some cutting-edge technologies, such as sound and light installations, multimedia architectural projection, multimedia dynamic images, multimedia interactive devices, water screen laser projection, 3D and visual music, and more, to depict the time-honored history, wealthy culture, and local legends of Xidi Village, offering an immersive nighttime travel experience to visitors.

Notably, new interactive experiences are provided there, such as holographic dance shows, farming interactive experience equipment, digital swing water curtains, and musical fountains that have been installed, showing an outstanding beauty that is completely different from its appearance in the daytime.

What's more, the scenic spot combines technology with art and shows the connotation and characteristics of the village and scenic spots through pictorial light and shadow demonstrations. Tourists can also participate in the real-time interaction of the scenic area on their mobile phones, making them linger and marvel at these creative wonders.
