This year marks the 60th anniversary of China-France diplomatic ties. The "Meet Napoleon: The Disappeared Palaces" exhibition has opened at the Meet You Museum in Beijing with the aim of enhancing the friendship and cultural understanding between China and France. While Napoleon's name is widely recognized in China because of his political and military achievements, the exhibition shows another side of his life – his love for art and his family life. It features 81 sets of precious artifacts from the Napoleonic era of the 19th century, including oil paintings, sculptures, furniture and decorative items. Take a walk with CGTN reporter Bi Ran for an immersive journey through the multifaceted life of Napoleon.
