New Iranian consular building opens in Damascus after Israeli attack

An inauguration ceremony was held on Monday for a new Iranian consular building in the Syrian capital, Damascus, after the previous building was destroyed by an Israeli strike. Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, alongside his Syrian counterpart Faisal Mekdad, attended the ceremony. Israel launched a missile strike on the Iranian consular annex in the Syrian capital of Damascus on April 1, killing 13 people, including two senior Iranian military officials.
