"The Forbidden City and the Palace of Versailles" exhibition kicked off at the beginning of April at the Palace Museum in Beijing.
This exhibition highlights the exchanges between China and France in the 17th and 18th centuries, and displays around 200 collections including paintings, clocks, scientific instruments, porcelain and other cultural relics from the two countries.
As a key project in the China-France Year of Culture and Tourism in 2024, the exhibition also marks the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and France.
The exhibition will open to the public until the end of June.
