Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, met with Ma Ying-jeou in Beijing on Wednesday. During the meeting, Xi said that the history of the Chinese nation writes the inseparability of both sides of the Taiwan Straits, and the fact that compatriots on both sides of the Straits are closely connected by bloodline.
