The Dapeng Bay National Marine Ranch demonstration site in south China's Shenzhen City is the first coral-themed national marine ranch in the country. The site integrates multiple functions, such as ecological restoration, scientific education, leisure and sightseeing.
Hailed as "tropical rainforests in the sea" and the "home of marine life," coral reefs provide shelter for diverse aquatic life and empower fisheries for mankind.
Scientific research, recreational fisheries and seabed observation platforms are expected to be deployed in the Dapeng Bay ranch, combining various ecological industries to promote high-quality development and explore new paths for protection, development and utilization simultaneously.
