Türkiye has restricted the export of a wide range of products to Israel, including steel and jet fuel, until a ceasefire is declared in Gaza. Azmi Hassan, PhD, a geostrategist and senior fellow at Nusantara Academy for Strategic Research, says the move is significant to Israel because it depends heavily on steel imports for construction.
