The fourth China International Consumer Products Expo, also known as the Hainan Expo, is the country's first major international exhibition in 2024, with the theme  "Share open opportunities, Co-create a better life."

This year's expo will be held on April 13-18 in south China's Hainan Province. The exhibition area has been expanded to 128,000 square meters, with the U.S. on top with an exhibition area of 3,310 square meters.

Over 4,000 brands from 71 countries and regions are expected to take part, including 57 Fortune Global 500 companies and industry-leading companies. Over 55,000 buyers and professional visitors are expected to attend.

Participants also include 318 brands from 11 members of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership, with an exhibition area exceeding 3,000 square meters. The UK, Russia, Mongolia and Malaysia will send national exhibition groups for the first time.

This year marks the 45th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between China and Ireland. As the guest country of honor at this year's expo, Ireland is expected to present over 50 product brands across an exhibition area of 762 square meters, over 10 times that of last year.

Over 300 activities will be held, including new product launches and country-specific events. The expo will achieve 100 percent use of green electricity for the venues and facilities.
