Crabapples along the brook in Beijing's Yuan Dadu City Wall Ruins Park welcomed the full bloom in April. The park enjoys a high reputation for its wildly blooming Chinese flowering crabapples. Every year around the Qingming Festival, the flowers on both sides of the brook in the park bloom brilliantly, and various colored crabapple trees stretch for 1.1 kilometers. There are 28 varieties of crabapple in the scenic area, totaling over 5,000 plants, making it the garden with the highest number of crabapple varieties in Beijing. The flowering period can last until mid to late April. The white, pink and red crabapple flowers adorn the Yuan Dadu City Wall Ruins Park with exceptionally beautiful scenery.
