As a highlight of the 4th Consumer Products Expo, the inaugural Hainan 2024 New Energy Vehicle (NEV) Public Testing Island Rally kicks off on April 12 from the southernmost tourist stop on Hainan's Ring Road, the "Yingge Surfing Station." Covering approximately 600 kilometers, the route travels through Sanya and Wanning, cuts across to Danzhou via the Wanyang Highway, visits the "Dan'er Chasing Light" Station and the "Volcanic Coast Station,"  and concludes in Haikou. The race's S-shaped path across Hainan connects its famed cities and cultural landmarks, showcasing the island's beauty and local customs while testing electric vehicles' range and smart driving capabilities on various road conditions.
