The Russian Foreign Ministry has declared an employee of the Austrian embassy in Russia persona non grata, TASS reported Thursday.
The Russian Foreign Ministry also summoned the Austrian ambassador on Thursday to protest the expulsion of two Russian diplomats by Vienna last month, TASS said.
In March, the Austrian government expelled two diplomats from the Russian embassy in Vienna, saying they "engaged in acts incompatible with their diplomatic status."
