Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said on April 6 that the country is experiencing perhaps its worst natural disaster in 80 years, as 10 Kazakh states declared a state of emergency.

More than 98,000 people have been evacuated due to floods in Kazakhstan, the country's Emergencies Ministry said on Thursday. CGTN Stringer visited the flooded areas of the country to see the villages after severe flooding.
