The China National Space Administration declared a "mission success" for the Queqiao-2 relay satellite on April 12. It is a critical satellite for China's lunar exploration program, especially for missions concerning the far side of the moon. Xiong Liang, researcher and developer with the Queqiao-2 satellite, told CGTN that the satellite would be able to serve international lunar exploration missions and provide relay communication in support of humans' future quests in lunar exploration for a long time to come.
