In mid-April, many regions of southwest China's Yunnan Province celebrate one of the biggest and most important festivals of the year – the Water Splashing Festival. In the Dehong Dai and Jingpo Autonomous Prefecture, the three-day festival is held one week after Tomb-Sweeping Day. Chen Xiaoshu joined members of the Dai ethnic group in the city of Mangshi to help prepare for the festival.
