In a retaliatory attack, Iran launched a swarm of explosive drones and fired missiles at Israel late on Saturday in its first-ever direct attack on Israeli territory. According to Israel Defense Forces (IDF) spokesperson Daniel Hagari, over 200 missiles and drones were fired from Iran toward Israel, most of which were intercepted outside Israeli borders. Wang Jin, director of the Center for Israel Studies at Northwest University in Xi'an, shared his insights.
