German Chancellor Olaf Scholz is set to embark on his three-day visit to China alongside CEOs of leading German companies like Siemens and Mercedes-Benz. While closer trade ties top the agenda of Scholz's visit, advancing bilateral ties through more exchanges among ordinary people from the two countries is also expected to be part of the discussion. CGTN spoke with two German students currently studying at top universities in the Chinese capital of Beijing, asking about their experiences in China and their thoughts on increasing understanding between the two nations.
