Many printing and dyeing enterprises chose to close their factories and stop production after being asked to transform and upgrade their operations. With the help of the local government, they started moving into the printing and dyeing park, where they could share gas as well as electricity, and have access to sewage treatment facilities. Printing and dyeing enterprises in Chaoshan, south China's Guangdong Province have entered into a new era of using new development models to drive productivity.
