The combination of the Shenzhou-18 spaceship and a Long March-2F Y18 carrier rocket was vertically transferred to the launching area at the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center on April 17. It left the final assembly test building steadily seated on a mobile launcher platform and approached the launch pad after traveling 1.5 kilometers on a seamless rail. According to the China Manned Space Agency, the facilities and equipment at the launch site are in good condition, and various pre-launch function checks and joint tests will be carried out as planned.
