At least 18 people were wounded on Wednesday in a village in northern Israel after a drone and missile attack that was claimed by Lebanon's Hezbollah group, Israeli media reported, adding that one person was in critical condition and 2 others were in serious condition.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) later said it struck the sources of the fire and a Hezbollah military compound in southern Lebanon where "terrorists" were operating in response to Wednesday's attack.
