Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan met with Ismail Haniyeh, the leader of the Palestinian Islamist group Hamas, during a visit to Qatar and discussed the issues of humanitarian aid to Gaza, ceasefire and hostages, Turkish media reported on Wednesday, citing a Turkish diplomatic source.

Haniyeh will visit Türkiye on the weekend to hold talks with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
