Japan to start 5th discharge of nuclear-contaminated water on April 19

Japan will start the fifth release of the nuclear-contaminated wastewater from the crippled Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant into the ocean on the morning of April 19, Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCO) announced Wednesday. 

The discharge is expected to last until May 7, TEPCO said.
