A diplomatic employee of the Estonian Embassy in Moscow will be expelled from Russia based on the principle of reciprocity after a Russian diplomat was declared person non grata by Tallinn last month, the Russian Foreign Ministry announced on Wednesday.
The Russian Foreign Ministry said it summoned the Estonian charge d 'affaires to Russia on Wednesday to register a strong protest and informed that Estonia's hostile activities will always receive a proper response.
On March 19, the Estonian Foreign Ministry declared a member of the Russian embassy staff persona non grata, accusing the diplomatic mission of interfering in its internal affairs.
