Pan Gongsheng, governor of the People's Bank of China, met U.S. Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell on Wednesday while attending the International Monetary Fund-World Bank spring meetings in Washington, D.C.

The two sides exchanged views on issues such as the economic situation, monetary policy and financial stability of the two countries.
