China's top economic planner: High export volume is not overcapacity

China has disputed the idea that higher volume of exports signifies overcapacity at a Wednesday press conference.
Jin Xiandong, an official at the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), highlighted that in a market economy, supply-demand imbalances are common and can in fact be conducive to competition.
