This year marks the 85th anniversary of the premiere of "The Yellow River Cantata," coinciding with the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. Join us in reliving the magic of this historic masterpiece at the "Ode to the Motherland: Spirit of the Yellow River" concert held at Tsinghua University on April 16.

This concert is a tribute to the iconic "The Yellow River Cantata," created 85 years ago during the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression by poet Guang Weiran and composer Xian Xinghai. From its humble beginnings in Yan'an, this national treasure quickly captivated hearts across the nation, serving as a beacon of hope during challenging times.
The concert features classic anthems honoring the motherland of China. The first half of the concert is followed by a powerful rendition of "The Yellow River Cantata," while in the second half, it showcases the unwavering spirit of the Chinese people.
