The fourth China International Consumer Products Expo (CICPE) concluded its successful run from April 13 to 18 in Haikou, south China's Hainan Province, attracting record visits of over 480,000.
Under the theme "Share Open Opportunities, Co-create a Better Life,” this year’s expo was held in an unprecedented scale with participants from across the globe.
Spanning 128,000 square meters, the expo presented 4,019 consumer brands from 71 countries and regions, registering a 9 percent increase in participating countries and a 19 percent increase in brand representation compared to last year. Ireland was highlighted as the guest country of honor this year, and representatives from twelve RCEP countries, accounting for 80 percent of the bloc's membership, also showcased their products.

For the first time, the expo adopted a "1+N" model, spreading its venues across the island with main activities at the Hainan International Convention and Exhibition Center and additional sites in Haikou and Boao focusing on yachts, duty-free shopping, and international health.
A key highlight of this year's expo was the launch of 1,462 new products, representing a 45 percent increase over last year. The expo also set a new standard in sustainability, issuing green guidelines that covered all aspects of the event, from construction to logistics, ensuring complete utilization of green electricity in venues and facilities.
The success of CICPE over the past four years has left a lasting impression on domestic and international exhibitors alike, fostering long-term participation and opening opportunities. This year, 42 organizations, including repeat participants like China Bank, Burberry, and the Irish pavilion, were honored for their continuous support over the four expo editions.
Looking forward, 36 companies, including Blackmores, the Czech Trade Promotion Agency, and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, have already pledged their participation for the next expo.
