Josep Borrell, EU's high representative for foreign affairs and security policy, said on Thursday that he had a phone conversation with Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud to discuss the latest developments in the Middle East.
In a social media post, Borrell said they shared a sense of urgency to work together on de-escalation and find a sustainable way out of the tensions.
