Criticism grows as Japan starts 5th Fukushima nuclear-contaminated wastewater discharge

Criticism is spreading as Japan on April 19 started the fifth release of nuclear-contaminated wastewater from the crippled Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant into the Pacific Ocean.

Masashi Goto, a member of the Citizens' Commission on Nuclear Energy in Japan, said that if the discharge was unattended, it would lay hidden dangers for the future.
