At around 5:40 pm on April 16, an SUV hit an electric bicycle rider at a crossroad in the capital city of Taiyuan, northern China's Shanxi Province. As the rider was pinned under the vehicle, the driver got off at once and tried to lift up the car all by himself. Nearby police officers rushed in to help, and called on passersby to lend them a hand.
