The Israeli army on Thursday evening released Mohammad Abu Salmiya, the director of the Al-Shifa hospital in Gaza, who was arrested in November last year, Palestine's Al-Quds newspaper reported on Friday, citing a correspondent.

There has been no confirmation from Israel.
