Firefighters rescued people trapped in a hydropower station on April 20 as water levels rose due to continuous rainfall in Shaoguan City, south China's Guangdong Province. The rescue site has steep terrain and is about 2 meters above the ground. Rescuers then came up with the idea of standing on a bench and using one's back as a ladder, successfully transferring three trapped people.
