The Israeli police has identified Monday's car-ramming incident in Jerusalem as a terrorist attack after two suspects escaped the scene and a rifle was found on their escape route, according to a police statement.

Three civilians suffered minor injuries and police have reached the scene to locate the suspects, the statement added.
