Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan arrived in Iraq on Monday for his first official visit in years. Water, oil and regional security issues are expected to top the agenda.
Erdogan was greeted at Baghdad's international airport by Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia' al-Sudani, state television reported.
The Turkish leader is scheduled to hold meetings with al-Sudani and Iraqi President Abdul Latif Rashid in Baghdad before visiting officials in Erbil, the capital of Iraq's semi-autonomous region of Kurdistan.
