This year marks the 75th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) Navy. Ni Peng, PhD, a researcher at the Research Center for Pacific Island Countries for Liaocheng University, says the PLA Navy actively participates in global search and rescue operations and cooperates with other countries to maintain peace and tranquility on the sea.
