2024 marks the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between China and France. Over the past 60 years, China and France have established sound and stable relations in the political, economic and cultural fields. Romain Sevestre, a French rail transit engineer, has been in China for nearly 20 years, during which time he also worked on the Wuhu monorail. He is a builder and a witness to China's transportation development.

In this video, Romain and his Chinese colleague Liu Rui recall the development of China's transportation. As a cross-city worker, he needs to take the subway and rail transit between Nanjing and Wuhu every week. Over the years, he has witnessed the tremendous development of China, especially in the transportation industry, which is remarkable.
