Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on Tuesday that he held a phone conversation with British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and thanked him and the UK for allocating its largest defense support package, worth half a billion pounds, to Ukraine to date.
"Storm Shadow and other missiles, hundreds of armored vehicles and watercraft, ammunition – all of this is needed on the battlefield," Zelenskyy wrote on social media.
"We discussed the need for an effective model for confiscating frozen Russian assets. We also shared our expectations for the upcoming Peace Summit in Switzerland and European Political Community Summit in the UK," he added.
