Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said Tuesday that his country and Armenia were close to signing a peace deal to end a decades-long territorial dispute that has sparked conflicts.
"We are close as never before," Aliyev said in the Azerbaijani capital of Baku, adding that "we now have a common understanding of how the peace agreement should look like, we only need to address details."
