China is the guest country of honor at the 37th International Kite Festival in Berck-sur-Mer from April 20 to 28.

The event is expected to see about 500,000 to one million visitors stroll the town's white-sand beaches. China is showcasing traditional kites and crafts besides holding cultural demonstrations at the event. Founded in 1987 and held in a seaside resort in northern France, the event attracts kite flyers from all over the world.
