In his speech at the opening ceremony of the Harvard Kennedy School China Conference 2024, Chinese Ambassador to the U.S. Xie Feng called on China and the U.S. to respect each other's core interests and major concerns, saying that applying salami tactics or crossing red lines on the Taiwan question and other sensitive issues is like racing cars on a cliff's edge, where a crash is almost inevitable.
