Japanese reporter asks why not use nuclear-contaminated water if it is safe

Takeshi Yamakawa is a journalist from Tokyo Shimbun who has been reporting on nuclear-related developments for the past decade. During a visit to the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant, he asked the person in charge why, if the nuclear-contaminated water is truly safe, it's not being utilized to mix concrete. "The person said it never crossed their minds," he said.
