Representatives of gold medalists at the 19th Asian Games and the fourth Asian Para Games in Hangzhou, east China's Zhejiang Province, were given "champion stamps" for their performances in Beijing on Thursday.

Sun Peiyuan, Chang Zhizhao, Tong Xin, Chen Huiying, Wu Yunxuan, Wu Xiaowei, Di Dongdong, Lin Suiling and Xu Jialing received the commemorative stamps on behalf of 693 champions of Team China, China's Hong Kong, China's Macao and Chinese Taipei. These stamps were made by 220 artists of Xiling Seal Art Society, a Chinese arts organization based in Hangzhou. It was founded in 1904 and has been one of China's most important traditional stone seal engraving associations.

Shen Haixiong, president of China Media Group (CMG), attended the ceremony together with Xing Bo, vice president of CMG, Zhang Jiasheng, deputy director of the General Administration of Sport of China, and You Liang, vice-president of the executive board of the China Disabled Persons' Federation.

In her speech, Xing said that sports and culture are closely related to each other and combine with one another for mutual development. CMG provided international public signals and media services for the Asian Games and Asian Para Games in Hangzhou to the world with 4K and 8K resolutions for the first time.

The champion stamps and related album of seal impressions celebrated the achievements of the athletes, according to Xing. They also explored the creative transformation and innovative development of splendid traditional Chinese culture.

Zhang expressed his gratitude toward CMG and Xiling Seal Art Society for their efforts in designing and making the stamps. By combining sports with traditional Chinese culture, Zhang said, they made significant contributions to carrying forward outstanding traditional Chinese culture and Chinese sports spirits.
