Expert: U.S. claim of China overcapacity due to own lagging industry

China has refuted a recent allegation by G7 countries claiming that China's non-market policies and practices are leading to overcapacity. U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken is expected to raise this concern during his current visit to China. Lyu Xiang, an expert in China-U.S. relations at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, says the United States fears its auto industry is lagging behind.
