The Arles Amphitheatre, situated in the heart of Arles in southern France, was built in 90 AD and remains one of the masterpieces of the ancient Roman era. This colossal circular arena once hosted battles, gladiator contests, and other entertainment, bearing witness to the grandeur of the Roman Empire. Today, it stands as a symbol of Arles, attracting tourists from around the world and serving as a venue for cultural events and historical exhibitions.

In contrast, Yinxu is the archaeological site of the capital of the Shang Dynasty (1600-1046 BC) located in present-day Anyang City, Henan Province. The site has preserved palaces and sacrificial temples, and has yielded bronze artifacts, jade objects and many other important relics that reveal political, economic, and cultural facets of ancient Chinese society. The discovery and ongoing study of Yinxu is of great significance in understanding the development of ancient Chinese civilization, where it remains one of the most significant archaeological discoveries in the world.

Arles Amphitheatre and Yinxu, both precious legacies of human civilization, recount ancient yet glorious tales. Whether it is the magnificent arena of ancient Rome or the royal city ruins of China's Shang Dynasty, they both showcase the diversity and richness of human civilization.
