The climb up to the First Peak (5,025m) of Mount Siguniang initially requires hiking up to the base camp, then waking up at 2 a.m. to head for the summit. It's a grueling ascent in the dark that sees you arrive at the top just in time to witness the sunrise, and the clouds appearing right before your eyes.
