Tokyo Shimbun journalist Takeshi Yamakawa has spent the past decade reporting on the aftermath of the Fukushima nuclear disaster. He told a CGTN reporter that radiation remains in areas that lifted evacuation restrictions and that he hopes to defend the public good in Fukushima Prefecture by exposing the truth to the outside world.
